This website is designed to show off the artwork of a local painter. She and I collaborated on the design of this site, focusing on soft patterns and clean, non-distracting space to highlight the seemingly simple nature of the art work.
The strategy was to show off the work in groups (at launch, all artwork would be in a single gallery but as the artist completed more work, they would be broken into themed galleries), to show the breadth of the work without an endless list of thumbnails.
